State Garden Show 2026 in Leinefelde-Worbis

From April 23 to October 11, 2026, the State Garden Show opens its gates on a 15-hectare site. Under the motto "Reconciliation between town and countryside", visitors can look forward to impressive garden displays, the redesigned Augarten, the Lunapark with Tuffers Garten, and the newly created Garden City. Over 1,500 events are planned – from concerts and workshops to yoga and educational programmes. Everything is included in the admission price. For families there is a futuristic playground, a new skate park, and a basketball court. A special highlight is the digitalisation of the medieval village of Kirrode: an EU-funded multimedia experience brings history to life. In the "Blumen-Block", a former GDR apartment block is repurposed as an exhibition stage – a creative dialogue between past and future. Over 300,000 visitors are expected. Our guesthouse is the ideal base – and in a way an unofficial part of the garden show: in our own garden, various fruit trees, berries, and vegetables grow, the wildflower meadow from ImmerBunt provides a home for bees and butterflies, and the deadwood corner offers shelter for hedgehogs and wild bees. What the Garden Show displays on 15 hectares, we live on a small scale every day. In the morning you enjoy breakfast with us featuring homemade jam and fruit from our own garden, during the day you experience the Garden Show in Leinefelde-Worbis – just a few minutes' drive away. In the evening you return to the tranquillity of our green garden.
